Q. How does therapy work? How do I know therapy will work for me?
A. I practice psychodynamic Psychotherapy that focuses on, and explores feelings, thoughts, relationships and actions. We will explore, together, what is of concern to you and work towards finding peace and stability, as you define it, in your life. There are several types of therapy. The key is finding the method and therapist that works for you!
Q. What can I expect in each session?
A. In each session, you set the agenda. I will be there to explore how to support you find clarity. This clarity can help you find the path to resolve the anxiety and stress that is preoccupying you. Each session is confidential and we go over the consent form to ensure you understand the privileges and limitations of confidentiality in therapy.
Q. What is the cost of a session?
A. The initial, 15 minute consultation is free. After that you decide if you would like to proceed working with me.
Introductory NEW PRACTICE Special Rate for a Limited Time: The first session after the initial free 15 minutes consultation is 50 minutes for $ 160. For Pre-teens and Adolescents under 18 years, the full session cost is $ 150 for 50 minutes.

Q. Can I pay for my sessions through my work benefit plans?
A. Yes, if your Benefits cover the services of a Registered Social Worker. You can then make a claim and be reimbursed this amount through your Benefit Plan.
